I think its fair to say that, with the release of the additional Jeffrey Epstein documents, it should be clear to those on the political left fringe that their chance for a “kill shot” on President Trump does not exist just as those on the political right fringe should have reached the same conclusion regarding a kill shot on former President Bill Clinton. I think most informed citizens knew all along that if the Biden Administration had anything criminal on Trump with Epstein, they would have pursued it with vigor when they threw the legal “kitchen sink” at Trump during Biden’s term. Obviously, the same would be true if the Trump Administration had anything criminal on Clinton with Epstein.  And to be clear, it does not appear that either President Trump or President Clinton had any dealings with Epstein following his 2008 conviction in Florida for procurement of a person for prostitution and solicitation of prostitution.

One could hope that, with the more fulsome Epstein document release, Congressional ring leaders such as Congressman Thomas Massey of Kentucky and Congressman Ro Khanna of California might decide to focus on less “exciting” issues of more relevant concern to their respective constituents such as education, healthcare, and AI. Something tells me that this will not be the case for either Congressman!

But something else stands out to me regarding the most recent release of the Epstein documents which is now gaining considerable exposure in the media. This concerns the large number of powerful individuals in business, academia, law, and politics who are now falling all over themselves to deny knowledge of Epstein’s sordid past and apologize and express regret for having had any contact or interaction with Epstein following his 2008 Florida conviction. A number of these individuals have either stepped back or resigned in disgrace from their prominent and powerful positions. Included in this “Hall of Shame” is the former U.S. Treasury Secretary and President of Harvard University; the co-owner of the New York Giants NFL team; the former Duke of York; a Sultan CEO from Dubai; a managing partner from a major Wall Street law firm; the Executive Chairman of the Hyatt Hotel Chain; and the former Obama White House Counsel and the current General Counsel for Goldman Sachs. The preceding was only a partial list of Epstein’s friends now running fast and furious for cover!

In each case, the individuals were willing to place their personal and professional reputations at risk for the opportunity to associate with and leverage position and power in society with a powerful but morally corrupt convicted felon. Their horrible choices and failure to establish appropriate boundaries was incredibly costly for them. The painful and embarrassing result of their foolish and reckless conduct should be no surprise. The Apostle Paul taught in I Corinthian’s 15:33 that “bad company corrupts good character.”  My sense is that these powerful individuals believed that because of their prominent positions in life they were “bullet proof” and immune from any accountability for their association with Epstein. They were wrong. I believe the Apostle Paul had this type of arrogance in mind with his message in I Timothy 5:24 when he said, “the sins of some people are conspicuous going before them to judgement, but the sins of others appear later.”  There are no “mulligans” for close associates of Jeffrey Epstein!

God bless you and thank you for the privilege of your time in reading my blog.
